"Fortress BeerWorks, a new brewery set to open this fall, will be the 49th in the Houston area. Located in a 6,600-square-foot industrial space, it will feature a taproom and allow patrons to take beer away in crowlers. The brewery will offer a variety of beers including a double IPA, blonde ale, witbier, and its signature Smash IPA, with plans for more seasonal and special releases. Although it won't have a kitchen, local food trucks will be available. Fortress BeerWorks will operate from Thursday through Sunday." - Alaena Hostetter
