"Home of the West-coast style IPA beer collaboration, Mi Gente — a campaign similar in concept to the “Black is Beautiful” project launched by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. of Texas in 2020 — intended to celebrate contributions made by Latinx brewers. A portion of proceeds going in support of the local Latino community. This downtown brewery offers a selection of craft beer, cider, wine, hard seltzer, and nonalcoholic options. The pub menu offers Puerto Rican-inspired fare of yuca fries, tostones, and smoked pork tacos — sofrito-braised smoked pork, black bean and corn salsa, queso fresco, and a sprinkling of cilantro. City Built’s kitchen is open Wednesday through Saturday (they’re adding Sunday service soon). On Mondays and Tuesdays, the brewery hosts a variety of food trucks and other food vendors that pop up outside or utilize the kitchen space." - Courtney Burk
