"I'm seeing that Dave’s Hot Chicken, an LA-based Nashville-style hot chicken chain backed by celebrity investors like rapper Drake and actor Samuel L. Jackson (with others including Maria Shriver, Tom Werner, and Michael Strahan), is headed to Atlanta; franchisees Deryl Pangelinan, Tim Velleca, Andrew Feghali, and Lawrence Kourie are targeting East Atlanta for eight new locations with a ninth planned for Athens, though exact sites and opening dates are still to be determined.
