"Bommarito is a legendary Italian deli in St. Clair Shores going back to the 1920s. Its Italian sandwich is the main reason to visit; the cold cut sub is stacked with salami, ham, and provolone, and uses a sesame seed studded baguette that’s baked in-house. The muffuletta features the same bread, and the deli has a wide selection of Italian cookies, sodas, and pizza. Pro tips: Strangely, the muffuletta doesn’t come with olive tapenade on it, so be sure to purchase it separately.
