"Known for its Korean-style, fish-shaped taiyaki filled with ice cream, the shop serves brightly colored swirls of soft-serve—flavors include matcha, Oreo cookie, and banana—piped into warm taiyaki cones that are prefilled with custard, red bean, or taro paste and finished with toppings such as fresh fruit, cereal, candy, and matcha powder. There’s also a savory cheddar taiyaki option and cup-served soft-serve for a simpler treat. The brand opened its first DFW location in Frisco in February 2019 and has leased a 2,389-square-foot space in the Carrollton Town Center at George Bush and Old Denton Road for its second DFW outpost." - Amy McCarthy
