"The Red Velvet Cupcakery in Reston Town Center closed May 27. General manager Kristen Brabrook, who is slated to serve as GM and executive pastry chef at forthcoming all-day Chevy Chase restaurant, Little Beast, thanked Reston residents for close to eight years of support. "We hope to return soon through pop ups and farmers markets, or even a brick and mortar store someday," she wrote in a farewell note.
