Eataly Is Considering Opening Locations in Montreal and Vancouver | Eater Montreal

"According to the Financial Post, Eataly is eyeing further Canadian expansion, with executive president Andrea Guerra highlighting Montreal and Vancouver as probable sites and the company confirming interest to Eater while declining to comment specifically on Montreal; the first Canadian Eataly opens this fall in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. Founded in Italy in 2004 and now in 14 countries, Eataly rose to North American prominence under Mario Batali, Lidia Bastianich, and Joe Bastianich (Batali has since been bought out), and Eataly Canada will have no affiliation with those owners, who will remain tied to the U.S. arm." - Tim Forster
