"The one-hour trip to Yacolt is worthwhile for coffee nerds seeking a bit of history and the chance to chat with owner Todd Millar who spent a year putting together and restoring the oldest operating Probat coffee roaster in the world. A delegation from the Germany and United States offices of Probat took the trip out to Yacolt to verify its authenticity. They believe it was built in 1896.
