"Modern Mexican restaurant Barcocina will soon reveal a bigger outpost in West Town. Known for its expansive patio near Wrigley Field, the company will open a second location in early October at 1814 W. Chicago Avenue, the former home of Tecalitlan. The new location aims to highlight growth with a sharing-focused menu featuring longtime hits like yucca tots and firecracker shrimp, as well as new options like scallop ceviche bites with strawberry and hibiscus 'caviar.' The building has been significantly changed, with a 230-seat patio and two bars, one of which can operate year-round. The cocktail menu is expected to feature around 40 different tequilas." - Naomi Waxman
