Mark Wahlberg’s Las Vegas Restaurant Catches Fire Day Before Grand Opening - Eater Vegas
"Mark Wahlberg’s Flecha Cantina in Town Square on the Las Vegas Strip has been open for just a few weeks. But on the eve of its grand opening event, a wayward fire pit set part of the restaurant aflame on Wednesday, November 6. According to a representative for the restaurant, a “defective” pit caused a fire in the patio area, resulting in minor damage. Firefighters extinguished the flames and the restaurant reopened the same evening. Video shows flames visible at the front of the restaurant. Wahlberg’s new restaurant occupies more than 10,000 square feet at the outdoor shopping area on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Vegas location follows the opening of Flecha Cantina in Huntington Beach, California; the upscale restaurant serves a selection of ceviche, seafood enchiladas, and a Sunday morning brunch buffet.
