"From the people behind Phayul, Trisara Restaurant and Bar is a Jackson Heights spot with Tibetan and Nepali dishes. The dark restaurant has a large bar in the back and a collection of tables up front, all of which have views of televisions which loop videos of Mount Everest. In the evening, pair your fried beef momos with a cocktail, and at lunch, salty, glistening butter tea, which a server will pour from a large thermos perched on the bar. The only soundtrack is momos frying, and the chatter of people who realized they really needed a thali set with free refills tonight. We especially like the dal bhat here, which has baby-soft lentils and a few scallions on top." - willa moore, sonal shah, bryan kim
