"Where theoriginal Dr.Noodlein New Cross feels like the place for a wholesome, low-key noodle soup lunch or dinner, its location in King’s Cross feels a little more useful. Which is kind of what we want from this area. Students, commuters, and the generally bedraggled peer into its canteen-like space and enter in the hope of a bowl of something nourishing. It will give you just that, and there’s a little counter set-up for solo slurpers in need of Sichuan beef broth after clocking off. The roasted duck or crispy pork isn’t the finest example so we’d stick to a bowl of hearty noodle soup and be on your way within half an hour." - Jake Missing
