"Pasifika may be wedged into a quiet office park in Bellevue, but with bouncy reggae, a velvet rope that's just for show, and staff who say things like “hell yeah, let’s do this” after you order each appetizer, it’s got party energy. Even on a random Tuesday at 5pm, this is a great place to drink something bright and tropical after work and split some stuff from the extensive menu of Hawaiian, Guamanian, and other Pacific islander dishes. Not everything stands out, but we like the crunchy lumpia and the saimin, which has a light broth that clings to springy noodles and matchsticks of Spam. Order a Ha’ani (a mango-hibiscus mojito), share some shatteringly crispy lumpia or sticky-sweet BBQ wings, and let the stress of 405 gridlock melt away.
