"Pasifika may be wedged into a quiet office park in Bellevue, but with bouncy reggae, a velvet rope that's just for show, and staff who say things like “hell yeah, let’s do this” after you order each appetizer, it’s got party energy. Even on a random Tuesday at 5pm, this is a great place to drink something bright and tropical after work and split a few things from the extensive menu of Hawaiian, Guamanian, and other Pacific islander dishes. We particularly like the saimin, which has a light broth that clings to springy noodles and matchsticks of Spam. Order a Ha’ani (a mango-hibiscus mojito), share some shatteringly crispy lumpia or sticky-sweet BBQ wings, and let the stress of 405 gridlock melt away." - Gabe Guarente
