"The Latin Quarter’s touristic draw, combined with the presence of numerous universities, means ho-hum crêpes and kebabs dominate the food scene here. Le Cèdre’s Lebanese mezze and sandwiches, however, stand out, transforming the Venn diagram of delicious and inexpensive into a must-try circle. The slightly green tinge of their housemade falafel will clue you into the herby onslaught contained within the crispy shells. And the juicy chicken shawarma is slathered with rich, creamy garlic sauce.
