"Outside of inspecting the ‘you save £3’ labels in duty-free like Martin Lewis on tour, one of the greatest, simple pleasures to be had at Gatwick is PizzaExpress’ breakfast dough balls. It’s a rip-and-dip carbohydrate novelty act as you spread jam on the chain’s quintessential sidekick, before having a little banquette seating snooze. The breakfast menu (the only PizzaExpress one in the UK) mostly results in sad, hardened eggs on pizza, so stick to breaded simplicity.
