"Cafe Istanbul is one of the best places in DFW to get lahmacun: crisp, pizza-style flatbread topped with a spicy ground beef, lamb, and herbs, then brightened with a squeeze of lemon. There’s also a heartier, more pizza-like version with Turkish sausage and stringy cheese. You should probably just get both. And there are plenty of great mains, like the Chicken Beyti, skewered, rolled in flatbread, and topped with a garlic-yogurt-tomato sauce. But Cafe Istanbul is also the kind of place you can make a meal from appetizers—you could just get hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and a lahmacun, and leave happy." - Erin Booke
