Carbon Live Fire Mexican Grill - Review - Bridgeport - Chicago - The Infatuation

"You’re not coming to this counter-service spot under the I-90 overpass for the best Mexican food in Chicago, but keep Carbon in mind if you’re looking for something casual and quick in Bridgeport. There aren’t many surprises on the menu—tacos, burritos, bowls, and quesadillas—which are inconsistent, but mostly OK. The highlight is the steak cooked on the live fire grill. It has a light smoky flavor, but is pretty bland otherwise. Get it in a burrito (and ask to add things like rice, beans, and cheese, which are extra) and definitely make ample use of the salsas." - Veda Kilaru
