"At this cash-only dive in Hollywood, you can smoke inside while you make eye contact with regulars sitting at the big oval bar that takes up most of the space. Nothing inside appears to have been touched since 1987, and we mean that as a compliment. The bar’s counter is smooth as a bowling alley lane, and its lower ledge meets your feet so they don’t have to dangle awkwardly. Fans spin at a speed just high enough to keep the smoke out of your eyes without putting out your cigarette. The regulars feel straight out of Central Casting for dive bar background actors, and the bartenders are supportive little angels who make you want to stay here for three drinks longer than you intended." - Ryan Pfeffer
