"After an escalator ride, reorienting yourself in the labyrinth of home goods, and a few ponderous looks at the Skims section, you’ll find the Nordstrom cafe lurking in the back of Phipps Plaza. While the food is nothing to go out of your way for, it’s actually a decent option for a quiet, secluded meal after shopping. Fired-cooked Neapolitan pizzas arrive with a crispy crunch (although no airy rise). Salads get topped with a generous portion of lump crab meat, and deep pink salmon comes nicely charred with an artistic smear of yogurt sauce. It all works well when you’re starving and shudder at the idea of joining genpop in the food court." - jacinta howard, juli horsford, nina reeder
