"Right in the heart of the UNESCO-listed center of the Sicilian city of Ragusa Ibla, Locanda Don Serafino is a unique mixture of old and new: it’s a patchwork of Baroque-era buildings, stitched together into an eclectic contemporary boutique hotel, complete with rakish modern furnishings and all the current luxury-boutique comforts. Nowhere is this contrast more striking than in the cave rooms, which feature Philippe Starck lucite Ghost Chairs alongside rough-hewn stone walls.
