"Japanese restaurants and sushi bars come and go in Flagstaff, but Karma is a downtown institution, serving creative sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi for nearly 25 years. At first blush, this lively spot feels more like a tavern than a sushi bar, given that the bar, which takes up a lot of real estate, offers a long list of alcoholic beverages, including craft beers, deftly made cocktails, sake, and a separate menu devoted exclusively to Japanese whisky. That said, the sushi roll selection seems boundless, not to mention legit, thanks in no small part to the restaurant’s commitment to sourcing premium fish such as Ora King Salmon, recently served as a buttery sashimi special.
