"Opening July 7, this cereal-centric ice cream shop will occupy 7000 Independence Parkway in Plano in a Kroger-anchored shopping center. The concept focuses on infusing cereals like Fruity Pebbles and Cinnamon Toast Crunch into ice cream using a custom-built “aeronautic-grade” blender to produce deeper, more intense flavor; owners Nico Nguyen and Karmen Lau say they wanted to capture the nostalgic joy of cereal in a modern, energetic atmosphere. Offerings include the “milky swirl” (cereal-infused vanilla soft serve) and the “milky doughnut” (a scoop of ice cream stuffed into a pressed, warmed doughnut, glazed or non-glazed), with about 15 rotating flavors at launch such as salty toffee, “unicorn brownie,” Thai iced tea, coffee, and ube." - Amy McCarthy
