Coronado Golf Course Reveals All-Day Restaurant and Event Space - Eater San Diego
"The longtime restaurant space that serviced the Coronado Golf Club has been thoroughly transformed into Feast and Fareway, a new all-day eatery designed to appeal to the entire Coronado community and run by Rise and Shine Restaurant Group founder Johan Engman. A six-month overhaul of the site added floor-to-ceiling windows to the dining room, which boast views of the surrounding golf course and the Coronado Bridge. There’s a new outdoor patio as well as two distinct bar areas, including one located just off the green. Tailored for everyday dining and as a venue for special events and weddings, the space also features an oceanfront lawn. Offering daily brunch from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., Feast and Fareway will cook up popular dishes from the Breakfast Republic menu including shrimp and grits and blue crab and crawfish eggs Benedict. Dinner ranges from Spanish octopus with achiote adobo, spicy tomato sauce, shishito pepper, and fava beans to a braised pork shank with smoked peach sauce, parmesan risotto, and crispy Brussels sprouts and a bone-in short rib with pinot noir reduction, potatoes au gratin, and roasted vegetables." - Candice Woo
