When I tried the service a $3.99 delivery fee appeared at checkout. According to a sales document sent to a Montreal restaurant, Ueat charges restaurants roughly $0.27 to $0.89 per transaction depending on volume, plus about a $70 monthly base fee, and it does not take a commission on orders but charges a $495 setup fee; Ueat says the service can “pay for itself” by increasing the average bill by up to 40 percent.
