"Bakeria 1010, formerly located in Linwood on the mainland, has reopened its doors in downtown Ocean City. Tried-and-true fans, and new fans as well, can now enjoy the bevy of unique pizzas owner Mike Fitzick creates, such as the spicy roni featuring mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, pepperoni, shaved jalapeno, Pecorino Romano, and Mike’s hot honey and the speck pizza which includes crispy speck, smoked mozzarella, golden potatoes, and cracked pepper. Even though the Ocean City crowds may visit this Asbury Avenue spot for its creative pizzas, the sandwich offerings are equally as amazing — some standouts include the Italian hoagie dressed with fresh veggie toppings, cheesesteak with Cooper sharp, and crispy chicken parmigiana sandwich, served on a sourdough baguette or Rando Bakery seeded roll.
