"Louisiana’s first Shake Shack opens its doors in Metairie today, offering hormone-and-antibiotic-free burgers, chicken, and hot dogs. The location adds local beers and frozen custards made with local ingredients, and has a partnership with the Louisiana SPCA. It takes over the former location of Lager’s International House.
