"I was blown away by the halal rib eye steak from this Uzbek grill in Plano, an Uzbek steak and grill house that focuses on Uzbek staples such as plov (lamb rice with carrots and raisings), manti (lamb dumplings) among others along side grilled specialties. The steak was juicy, crust browned with the smoky kiss of the fire. The grilled potato sides were crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. My husband and I wiped the steak juices off the board with the sides. It was glorious. In the summer, a pitcher of their compot, fresh seasonal juices made in house, are the perfect balm to the intense summer heat." — Didi Paterno. The halal rib eye is praised for juiciness, a well-browned crust and smoky fire-char; sides and house compot are noted as complementary and restorative in summer." - Courtney E. Smith
