"A fast-casual, 100% vegan, owner-operated spot in Downtown LA run by actor Mayim Bialik and vegan chef Allison Cruddas, it serves grain bowls, salads, soups and sandwiches under a smiling Buddha logo. The menu leans into Buddhism-themed names (Samsara, Mandala, Sangha, Dharma) for its grain bowls while breakfast departs from the theme with items like a tempeh bacon panini. Aimed at offering hearty plant-based alternatives beyond just salad and fries, the food features house-made seitans and dressings and is positioned as an affordable, healthy-Subway–style option (Dharma bowls advertised around $10).
