"A California-based grocery chain opened its first store outside of California at 1955 North Nellis Boulevard near East Lake Mead and North Nellis Boulevards. The market carries standard grocery items plus a large section of Mexican snacks and ingredients, an in-store bakery producing pan dulce and tres leches cake, and a prepared foods area offering six varieties of tamales, sushi, and rotisserie chicken. A beverage counter sells aguas frescas and horchata (with optional boba), and a cart offers a hot dog-and-drink combo for $1.99. The store is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m." - Janna Karel
