"A newcomer to Grosse Pointe Park, the Charlevoix officially opened at 14927 Charlevoix St. on Wednesday, November 14; I found its menu leans toward playful, internationally influenced bar snacks with options like briske-kimchi tacos, salt and pepper shrimp, corned beef fried rice, salt and vinegar wings, and smoked mushroom po’boys, with prices ranging from $4 for a taco to $16 for a shrimp po’boy. The project is run by Nick Arrigo, Brandon Belknap, and Brian Czerny, and the menu also features eight cocktails including the Five Burroughs — a combination of rye, amaro montenegro, zucca, and orinoco bitters — plus plenty of beer on draft and in bottles and wines by the glass or bottle. It hosted a grand-opening sequence with a private event at 5:30 p.m. followed by a public opening at 7 p.m., and is open 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 2 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday." - Brenna Houck
