Texas Hotel the Abert Will Open in Fredericksburg With New Restaurants and Bars | Eater Austin
"I'm reporting that the Albert Hotel, a boutique property from New Waterloo, will open at 213 East Austin Street in Fredericksburg and will span two acres of historic and contemporary buildings. The hotel is planned to include 110 guest rooms, a sunken pool, a full-service spa, event spaces, three restaurants, and two bars, and its opening was delayed from this summer to January 2024. I note that Clayton Korte is leading the design team, and that the food-and-beverage operation will be run by Justin Spencer, Amanda Rockman, and Michael Fojtasek, marking a third collaboration between New Waterloo and MaieB after projects like the clubhouse cafe at Butler Pitch & Putt and Maie Day at the South Congress Hotel." - H.
