"Known for its spicy, simmering all-you-can-eat hot pots, Shabro — which opened in Carrollton in 2018 — will open a second location at 9144 Prestmont Place, Suite 200 in Frisco. It quickly developed a devoted hot-pot following thanks to perfectly spiced broths and an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. Diners start by choosing a soup base — miso, seafood, chicken, and traditional Chinese huo guo broth — then select from meats including prime beef chuck, boneless short rib, chicken breast, lamb, and pork belly; there’s also a salad bar with plenty of veggies and other accoutrements to add to the simmering pot.
