"An annual National Pancake Day promotion offers a free short stack of buttermilk pancakes (typically worth about $4) through the evening cutoff (until 7 p.m.) in exchange for a suggested donation to one of three charity partners—Children’s Miracle Network, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
