"Head to Cranston for some of the best Sicilian-style pizza in Rhode Island. Catanzaro’s does thick and slightly chewy slices ladled with a tangy, lightly sweet, bright red sauce that we’d happily drink out of a ladle. They sell other typical red-sauce staples, too, with the baseball-sized meatballs being second only to the pizza. There aren’t any signature pies—it’s all build-your-own-pizza. We like a classic pepperoni scattered with neon yellow banana peppers for a little extra zing. Catanzaro’s has plenty of other topping options if you’re feeling creative: eggplant parm, chicken cutlets, caramelized onions, and even Craisins, for some reason.
