"Once you spot the massive Giants flag fluttering in the breeze, you’ll know you’ve made it to Patterson’s. The Irish pub oozing with NorCal sports pride is the after-dark gathering place in town—just stake your claim to a bar seat or a chair under the taxidermied moose head, split the G on a frosty pint, and chat it up with someone who’s lived here for 40 years. The menu covers standard pub food, like burgers and fish and chips, but our move is to come for drinks and a basket of fries during a late night (which in Mendocino terms means until 10pm)." - Julia Chen
