Their classic German breakfast plate—potato pancakes, bratwurst, grilled tomatoes, eggs—definitely didn’t cost $20 then, but a lot more about the place seems to have remained the same. Shippy’s is the type of local mainstay that works as a home base for remote work, or daily vacation meals, with a solid kids’ menu.
