"Ming’s serves Asian-inspired chicken sandwiches and other fried, crunchy delights in portions that could feed a horse—or at least a hungry spouse. The appetizers, like pho-tine fries, loaded with a rich, beefy gravy, cheddar curds, tufts of cilantro, and thick medallions of jalapeño and crunchy rangoon eggrolls, are stellar, but it’s really all about the fried chicken sandwiches here. The classic pairs a crispy chicken thigh with spicy mayo and butter pickles, while other options have fried cheese and heaps of kimchi. The drinks are creative and delicious too—we like the pandan colada with toasted rice that’s nutty, slightly savory, and has a hint of lime leaf flavor to balance the rich coconut milk.
