"Near the town hall and the opera house is Peixes – pronounced "pesh" (i.e. "fish" in Portuguese). In its small bistro interior with white and blue tiles and a very Mediterranean feel, fish and seafood cuisine is served in the form of tapas-style dishes (ceviche, carpaccio, fried fish, cod accras).
