Iceland Itinerary Test
Went here as soon as we landed (as the flight was overnight) and it was a great way to a) freshen up and b) experience our first of several lagoons. It's not not crowded, but it's got really clean facilities and is overall pretty nice.
Went to this park and a few others as we did the Golden Circle on day 1.
We drove to this harbor and took the ferry to the Westman Islands (Vestmannaeyjar), you put your car on the ferry and take it over. Buy tix in advance and you need to be at the harbor 30 minutes before departure and the crossing itself takes 40 minutes. Really beautiful ferry ride as well (with snacks and food on board).
There are puffins on this island in the Summer and tons of beautiful things to see if you just drive around.
Day 3: we just drove around to a bunch of the waterfalls like this and a few others.
It’s this waterfall in a box canyon and it’s green year round because of some geothermal whatever and it’ll be pleasantly warm even in the dead of winter.
A very random fish and chips truck that was really good (if you like fish and chips).
The thing I ate the most and loved the most were hot dogs, you get them with remoulade, mustard, and fried onions and it's so fucking good.
